The 2012 Ghetto Games Festival in Ventspils, Latvia successfully laid the groundwork for an annual alternative sports and culture event. Already in the first year it was the largest street culture and sports event held in the Baltic region. 1300 participants from 15 different countries were brought together by 10 different sports activities.
