Skateboarding made its Olympic debut in Tokyo a few years ago.

In Latvia, skateboarding has a long history, dating back to the early 1980s.

Today, the most well-known Latvian skateboarder on the global stage is undoubtedly Madars Apse. A native of Ventspils, he regularly invites professional riders from across Europe to compete in events.

Skateboarding in GGFEST is the place to experience the true spirit of skate culture and held in together with the Latvian Skateboarding Federation.
